Why are my pipes hammering?

Hammering pipes are caused by poor installation of pipework, or by air bubbles being compressed within the pipes due to incoming pressure through the house. Both these problems can be easily resolved by bleeding the line or securing the pipes.

Why is the water sitting low in my toilet bowl?

A lack of water in your toilet bowl can be indicative of a partial blockage along your plumbing line or a venting issue on your drain. Alternatively, recent changes to the design of toilet suites to conserve water may also be responsible for the change in the amount of water held by recently manufactured suites.

Why do I keep running out of hot water?

Depending on the age and size of your hot water system, there are a several reasons you could be running out of hot water. Firstly, this could be due to faulty parts, or parts that have worn over time such as valves and the element.
Secondly, a water leak on the hot line and the incorrect size of a unit in relation to your water demands could also be a factor affecting the amount of hot water you receive.

Why is my water bill unusually high?

An unusually high water bill is most commonly indicative of a water leak. Some causes include the relief valve releasing too much water or the hot water system itself leaking, due to poor manufacturing or corrosion over a period of time.

Why are my drains clogging?

Blocked drains are one of the most common plumbing complaints often resulting from a build-up of dirt, food, grease, and hair amongst other items. More serious blockages may be caused by broken pipes which have obstructed the passage and/or roots which have penetrated the pipeline.

How do I get reimbursed for the water I have lost due to a leaking pipe?

In the unfortunate event that you have lost water due to a leakage, our plumbers will assess the rate at which you have lost your water. This can be used in addition to the time period to calculate the overall water loss; once we have obtained this information, we are happy to submit this to The Water Corporation in order for you to obtain reimbursement.
