All 4 models are frost-protected by Rheem’s new “Drain Back” heat exchange technology. This technology allows the system to operate in colder climates, making it ideal if you’re suffering from the cool winter breezes in ocean-side suburbs or towards the southern suburbs where it’s been known to get down to low temperatures (even sub-zero).

These models offer an incredible 6 Star energy efficiency rating and the “596” 160L and 270L models have been redesigned as square units, with compactivity in mind, and are suited for larger homes with between 1 and 5 people.

If the power does happen to go out on you, you needn’t worry about being able to have running hot water as the system offers you the option of using either a gas or an electric booster to keep hot water flowing continuously, while maintaining that prized 6 Star rating. All of 160L models offer gas boosters. Most of the 270L models also use gas boosting, except for the following models: 591270/2SP, 591270/3SP.

Their 270L models offer full mains pressure to multiple outlets simultaneously, an internally mounted pump and controller, an LED display and top-mounted solar controllers, which are safely out of the reach of children.

Lastly, Rheem’s Premier Loline 160L models come with multiple warranties: 5 years supply on cylinder and solar collectors, 3 years labour on cylinder, 1 year labour on solar collectors, 1 year supply and labour on other parts; continuous flow gas booster has 10 years supply on heat exchanger, 3 years labour on heat exchanger, 3 years supply and labour on other parts.
