THE SOLARHART REVOLUTION
The Solahart L series revolutionises solar hot water heater collection as one of the very few hot water heaters whereby the entire system is mounted to your roof. One of the main reasons to make the switch to roof-mounting systems is to save space on-the-ground, and the L series comes in two models, the 181L and 302L.
The lower-capacity 181L unit is intended for use where low-volumes of solar hot water are required, such as by retirees or small apartment units. The larger 302L unit is intended for use by large families in areas of high solar gain and high volumes of hot water are required.
SIMPLE & EFFECTIVE
While it may look bulky, one of the major benefits of the Solahart L series is the simplicity with which they operate. The panels (also known as absorbers) are made from aluminium, and are coated with black polyester to increase the conductivity rate. The unit also uses copper for each of its 7 risers due to copper’s high rate of thermal conductivity. The water then rises while being heated, and is stored in the tank for later use.
The tanks themselves are lined with ceramic, to offer greater longevity and restrict heat-loss. Gas or electric boosting options are available for both systems.
The last, very impressive thing about the Solahart L series is that it cuts the amount of energy required to heat water by up to 90% in some cases. Solahart’s warranty packages include 5 (or 10) year warranty on cylinders and collectors and 5 year warranties on parts and labour across the model range.
